This Privacy Policy explains how Jinello collects, uses, and protects your personal information. We keep it straightforward: we only collect what we need, we use it to help you, and we don't share it with anyone who doesn't need it.
Jinello is a sole proprietorship based in Hengelo, the Netherlands, operating under Dutch law. Jinello is the data controller responsible for your personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You can reach us at jinello100@gmail.com.
When you book a consultation through Calendly, we receive the information you provide: your name, email address, and any details you share in the booking form. We use this to prepare for our call, follow up afterwards, and determine whether our services are a fit for your situation.
We may also collect basic technical data such as your browser type and the pages you visit, through standard analytics. This data is anonymised and used only to understand how our website is being used so we can improve it.
Legal basis: We process your personal data on the basis of legitimate interest — specifically, to respond to your enquiry and carry out a potential business engagement. If you become a client, processing is also necessary for the performance of our agreement.
We retain your contact details and any notes from our conversations for a maximum of two years after our last contact. If an engagement results in a paid project, we retain the relevant records for seven years in accordance with Dutch tax regulations. After these periods, your data is deleted.
We use Calendly to manage appointment bookings. When you book a call, Calendly processes your data according to their own privacy policy, which you can review at calendly.com/privacy. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell or rent your information to any third party.
Our website may use functional cookies to ensure it operates correctly. We do not use cookies for advertising, retargeting, or tracking beyond basic anonymised analytics.
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
Access. You can request an overview of the personal data we hold about you.
Correction. You can ask us to correct any inaccurate information.
Deletion. You can ask us to delete your data. We will do so within 30 days unless we are legally required to retain certain records.
Objection. You can object to the processing of your data. If you do, we will stop using it for the purpose you object to, unless we have a compelling legitimate reason to continue or are legally required to do so.
Restriction. You can ask us to limit how we use your data while a dispute is being resolved.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at jinello100@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.
If you believe we are not handling your data correctly, you have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl. We would always prefer to resolve any concern directly, so feel free to contact us first.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most recent version will always be available on this page, with the date of the last update shown at the top.
If you have any questions about how we handle your data, reach us at jinello100@gmail.com.
