Jinello is a sole proprietorship based in Hengelo, the Netherlands. We provide creative strategy and cinematic product ad production. Jinello is responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

What we collect and why
- Enquiries and consultations: your name, email address, booking details and information you share. We use this to answer you, arrange a consultation and discuss your project. Where you request a proposal or service, we process this information to take steps towards a contract. For other business enquiries, our legitimate interest is handling and following up on your request.
- Client projects: business contact and billing details, project communications any ad performance data you share with us, and any personal data included in the materials you provide. We use this to plan, produce, revise and deliver your ads and manage our agreement. The legal basis is performing our contract with you. Where a client provides another person's information, our legitimate interest is coordinating and delivering the agreed project.
- Images, video and voice of real people: if a client asks us to create AI-generated content based on a real person, such as a founder, employee or influencer, we process that person’s images, video or voice. We do this only on the client’s instructions and for the project concerned. The client confirms in the project agreement that it has that person’s prior written consent.
- Administration: invoice and payment records. We use these to administer payments and meet our legal accounting and tax obligations.
- Website statistics (only with your consent): pages viewed, clicks on booking buttons, approximate location (country or city), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. We use this to understand how the website is used and improve it. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through Cookie settings.
- Website operation: technical information such as IP addresses, browser details and access logs processed by our hosting provider. Our legitimate interest is delivering a working, secure website.
You choose what to share in an enquiry. We need basic contact and booking information to arrange a consultation, and relevant project and billing information to provide our services.
How long we keep your data
- Enquiries and bookings: until your enquiry and any agreed follow-up are complete. If a project goes ahead, relevant correspondence becomes part of the project records.
- Project information: while the project, agreed revisions and any outstanding payment or dispute are being handled. Afterwards, we delete personal information that is no longer needed. Where records are needed to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim, we retain only the relevant information for the applicable claim period, or until an ongoing dispute is resolved.
- Project files: final videos are kept available for 90 days after final delivery and then deleted. Materials supplied by the client, including images, video or voice of real people, are deleted within the same period, unless they are needed to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.
- Tax records: invoices and other records subject to the Dutch tax retention requirement are kept for seven years.
- Technical logs: for the period needed by the hosting provider to operate the website, investigate technical or security incidents and meet applicable legal obligations.
Third-party services
We use Calendly to schedule consultations. When you follow a booking link and enter your details, Calendly processes that information. See its privacy notice for more information. Booking data may be processed in the United States. Calendly describes safeguards for international transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses; details are available through its privacy notice.
With your consent, Google provides website statistics through Google Analytics, as described under Cookies and tracking.
AI tools: we create the work with AI tools for video, image and voice generation, such as Seedance, and with editing software such as CapCut. Materials needed for the project, which may include images, video or voice of people, are uploaded to these tools. Some of these providers process data outside the European Economic Area. We only upload what is needed for the project, and on request we tell clients which tools are used.
Hostinger hosts our website and may process IP addresses and technical logs to operate and secure it.
Service providers used for email, invoicing, payments and project production or delivery may process the information needed for those tasks. We share personal data only where necessary for the purposes in this policy or where required by law. We do not sell or rent your personal data.
Cookies and tracking
If you allow Analytics in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 to see how many people visit the site, which pages they view and how often the booking buttons are clicked. Google Analytics then sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_*, which are kept for up to two years. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. We have set data retention in Google Analytics to the shortest practical period and do not use this data for advertising. Google may process this data in the United States; Google relies on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses for such transfers. See Google's privacy policy. If you do not allow Analytics, Google Analytics is not loaded at all.
This website does not currently use Meta Pixel or other advertising tracking.
We use your browser's local storage to remember the preferences you select in the cookie banner. The entry is called jinello-consent and stores your choices and the date they were saved. The website treats your choice as valid for up to twelve months, after which it asks again. The stored entry remains in your browser until overwritten or cleared.
You can change your choices through Cookie settings in the footer, or remove the stored entry by clearing this website's browser data. This preference storage is used to remember your settings, not to track your activity.
Calendly operates on a separate website and applies its own cookie settings and privacy notice when you visit it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, subject to applicable conditions and exceptions, you may request:
- Access to your personal data.
- Correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion of information we no longer have a lawful reason to retain.
- Restriction of processing in certain circumstances.
- Objection to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Data portability where the legal requirements are met.
- Withdrawal of consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
Send requests to info@jinello.com. We normally respond within one month, as required by the GDPR. In certain cases that period may be extended, and we will explain this when applicable.
Complaints
If you have concerns about how we use your personal information, please contact us so we can review them. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services, website technologies or legal obligations change. The current version will be available on this page, with the last updated date shown above.
